We work for people’s wellbeing
We work in several areas, so we have organised our main activities into broader programmes.
Within them, we develop practical programmes and individual campaigns based on the real needs of our members and others who turn to us for support.
Support for physiotherapy
Through ongoing campaigns and projects, we help people with special needs access quality specialist physiotherapy services.
Regular and high-quality physiotherapy are essential for maintaining activity and health in people with special needs. We help both children and adults access quality therapeutic care.
Adults with disabilities are often left without regular treatment because it is not adequately provided for by the system. On the private market, these services are often expensive, poorly coordinated and therefore difficult to access. We occasionally support treatment for children and adults with special needs through small fundraising campaigns, while also drawing attention to the issue and advocating better systemic solutions.
Transport for wheelchair users
We lease a van that is adapted and equipped to transport wheelchair users.
As part of our work, we provide members and others with non-medical transport for essential journeys and events they might otherwise be unable to attend when a standard passenger vehicle is not suitable.
Suitable transport is essential for the independence of people with disabilities. We therefore provide transport support where we can and highlight barriers and inconsistencies in public transport.
Support for families and young talents
We aim to ease the everyday hardships of individuals and socially disadvantaged families through the support of dedicated volunteers and various professionals offering counselling that families might otherwise be unable to afford.
We support the talents of children and young people and encourage the development of volunteering and solidarity among people.
